1 Pound dry Lima Beans.
1 Pound Lean Ham for Beans.
1/2 Onion; chopped.
Salt or Salt Substitute to taste.
Pepper to taste.
Enough Water to cover the food about 2-3 inches above it.
Put all of the ingredients into the Crock-Pot.
Cover and cook on Low for 10-12 hours or on High for 5-6 hours.
