Recipe # 144.
Chicken and Yellow Rice
1 Pound or so Chicken Tenderloin Strips.
1-2 Packages Yellow Rice Mix.
2 Tablespoons Butter for each Rice Package used.
1/4-1/2 Onion; chopped.
2 Cans Reduced Salt and Fat Chicken Broth.
1/2-1 Can Water.
Seasoned Salt or Seasoned Salt Substitute to taste.
Pepper to taste.
Olive Oil for browning.
Season and brown the Chicken and Onion in the Olive Oil.
Transfer into the Crock-Pot.
Add in all the other ingredients.
Stir together well.
Cover and cook on Low for 6-8 hours or on High for 3-4 hours or until done.
A blog of simple, easy, money, time saving and also healthy Crock-Pot recipes. A lot of these recipes are soup recipes or recipes that include soup in the ingredients. Some are sauces or one-pot meals. I worked in a Crock-Pot Factory, in Hannibal, Mo., when we first got married, on November 30, 1974. The people I worked with gave us a Crock-Pot for a wedding gift. I started using one way back then and still use one. So I've been using a Crock-Pot for over 39 years now.

Cube Steaks in Mushroom Soup Cooked in the Pressure Cooker
4 Cube Steaks; seasoned and browned on both sides.
1/2 Onion; chopped.
1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup.
Seasoned Salt or Seasoned Salt Substitute to taste.
Pepper to taste.
Olive Oil for browning.
Season and brown the Cube Steaks, in the Olive Oil.
Transfer into the Pressure Cooker.
Add in all of the other ingredients.
Cover and cook on the Steak/Meat setting.
Serve with Mashed Potatoes and Vegetables.

4 Cube Steaks; seasoned and browned on both sides.
1/2 Onion; browned with the Cube Steaks.
Seasoned Salt or Seasoned Salt Substitute to taste.
Pepper to taste.
Garlic Powder to taste.
Small amount of Butter or Olive Oil for browning.
1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup.
1 Can of water.
Put all of the ingredients into the Pressure Cooker.
Set it on Steak/Meat.
When it is done either wait for the pressure to go down or release it yourself.
Serve with Mashed Potatoes and a Vegetable or Salad.
