Still hanging in there! I haven't weighed lately; so I don't know if I've lost anymore weight or not. I will post when I find out. In the meantime I will post some pictures!

Ok. It's Monday again. :( Oh well ! It's another chance for a new start; although I've been doing pretty good so far! I'm still moving forward. I don't really have much of a choice. If I want to get healthier I have to stick with this. And I do want to get healthier! I have 4 beautiful  grandchildren I want to see grow up. I missed taking a picture of my dinner last night , but we had healthy spaghetti . It was pretty good! Now I'm going to exercise and try to do a little better today than yesterday. I will try to post again tonight with a report.

My meal at Sweetie Pie's! Yummy! But meanwhile, back at the ranch, I have had to eat a little more healthy and a few less calories! Last night I ate several grapes, 1 piece of chicken, a small amount of corn, and a small amount of mashed potatoes. This morning I had 2 boiled eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, and 2 pieces of  whole wheat toast. And 1 cup of 1% milk. A little better! Starting to get more organized in buying groceries for this diet. It's taking a little while, but after all , this is a Grace-Full Diet! Hopefully I will do a lot better this week. I plan on publishing some more later today ; possibly after dinner! Lose Weight Grace-Fully

Still moving forward. I guess it's safe to say this is more of a lifestyle change than a diet. Basically we just have to change our way of eating. This is my weight loss journey, but my husband and I both need to change our diet. He needs to loose weight too, for health reasons. So I don't really have a choice. If I want to see my grandkids grow up ,etc. I have to improve my lifestyle! I'm determined to do it! I will post some more later; maybe dinner.

This is what we had for dinner : Baked Chicken, Squash, and Green Beans & Potatoes.
Ok. It's Monday. A good day for a fresh start on my weight loss  journey! I've been doing pretty good though. Mostly for my health and because of the dietitions pep talk. But it is up to me. I have to care enough to eat right and stick with the program ! Also the dreaded word exercise.:( Very difficult to do when you're this over weight. I have already lost 8 pounds though since I first started blogging about it. This is my 2nd blog , but its only been about a month since I started this journey. I went to the doctor and found out I have diabetes. He didn't put me on medication for it, but I'm trying to control it through diet and weight loss.I see a dietition and  I'm on a no salt , low potassium diet for my kidney disease. And a low fat diet for high cholesterol. So my diet is pretty bland , but doable. Also I also  have high blood pressure which this diet should help. So that's kind of an over view of where I'm at. Check in every so often to see how I'm doing and hopefully , if you need it , you will be inspired too. I will post my weight loss and what I'm eating on a fairly regular basis.
