Recipe #235.
                                                  Split Pea and Ham Soup with Vegetables

1 1/2 Pounds Lean Ham; cut into small cubes.
1 Small Onion; chopped.
5-6 Large Carrots; cleaned and sliced.
4-5 Medium-Large Potatoes; pealed and cut into small cubes.
1 Pound Bag Dry Split Peas, washed and sorted.
Enough Water to cover and fill the Crock-Pot at least 3/4 full.
Salt Substitute or Seasoned Salt Substitute to taste.
Pepper to taste.

Put all of the ingredients into the Crock-Pot.
Stir together gently.
Cover and cook on Low for 8-10 hours or on High for 4-5 hours or until tender.
