Fish happens to be a very good choice to help you lose weight. Cod is great for this. It's high in Omega 3 Oils. Low in fat and calories. And has a good texture and flavor. Broil, bake, or grill it to keep the fat low. Serve it with a green or yellow vegetable and a nice salad, with a low-fat dressing. a meal like this is high in protein, vitamin A, Omega 3 oils, and various other nutrients as well. I'm realizing I don't know as much as I would like to about nutrition. So starting today I plan on doing more research and study; to make my blog more effective and helpful. As well as help us do a better job with our own diet. I have studied quite a bit, on this subject, but feel like I need to learn more. I'm thinking about taking a course in nutrition; possibly online. But, for now, I will just post a recipe for Cod.
Baked Cod
2-3 Pieces of Cod filet per person.
Butter and/or Olive Oil.
Salt &/or Seasoned Salt or Seasoned Salt Substitute.
Pepper.
Lemon.
Preheat oven according to directions on package or about 375-400 Degrees.
Coat a baking dish with Butter or Olive Oil.
Place the Fish; seasoned on both sides, in the baking dish, in a single layer.
Bake for about 30 minutes or according to directions on package.
Serve with Lemon wedges and a Vegetable of choice. Low-fat Tarter Sauce if desired.
