Recipe # 53.
Texas Hash
1 Pound Lean Ground Beef.
1 Cup Long Grain Brown Rice.
1/2 Onion; chopped.
2-3 Cloves of Garlic; chopped.
1/2 Green Pepper; chopped.
1 Can Diced Tomatoes.
1 Can Tomato Puree.
2 Cups Water.
Olive Oil Cooking Spray.
Seasoned Salt or Seasoned Salt Substitute to taste.
Pepper to taste

Spray the inside sides and bottom of the Crock-Pot.
Season and brown the Ground Beef, Onion, Garlic and Green Pepper in a skillet.
Transfer into the Crock-Pot.
Add in all of the other ingredients.
Stir together well.
Cover and cook on Low for 6-8 hours or on High for 3-4 hours.
You can also prepare this as a Skillet Dinner.
Prepare the Ground Beef, Onion, Garlic and Green Pepper in the Skillet, drain.
Add in all of the other ingredients.
Stir together well.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cover.
Cook according to the directions for the Rice until Rice is done and Liquid is absorbed.
