A blog of simple, easy, money, time saving and also healthy Crock-Pot recipes. A lot of these recipes are soup recipes or recipes that include soup in the ingredients. Some are sauces or one-pot meals. I worked in a Crock-Pot Factory, in Hannibal, Mo., when we first got married, on November 30, 1974. The people I worked with gave us a Crock-Pot for a wedding gift. I started using one way back then and still use one. So I've been using a Crock-Pot for over 39 years now.

I haven't weighed today, but the last time I weighed, which I think was yesterday, I was still staying where I was the last time I posted. I guess there really is something to be said for giving something important a priority in your life. As long as I give losing weight a priority, even though I am on a Grace Diet, I lose weight consistently. Even if it's just a pound or two a week, every little bit helps! I had two of our grandsons home with me yesterday. One for sure has strep throat and the other one is being treated like he has it, because there's a strong chance he does, even though his test results didn't show it. The other one stayed home with me again today. His temperature was a lot higher than his brothers. I think they are both on the mend now. So they will probably both go to school tomorrow and I will just have the baby; until school is out that is. When I'm busy that seems to be the easiest time for me to lose weight. I guess it keeps me distracted, somewhat anyway, from food and eating. We had Chicken and healthy noodles for dinner last night. I think we might just have them again tonight. There was quite a few leftover, and it sounds like an easy option, after our busy day. We did have a vegetables with them, so I guess that's what we'll do this evening, too. Well that's my update for now. I may post some more later, it depends on how tired and busy I am.
