I haven't even weighed myself this morning, yet. I'm pretty sure it hasn't changed that much since yesterday. We had Chili Spaghetti for dinner last night. It was made with whole wheat spaghetti. So it was pretty nourishing and hopefully lower in calories. I've not been feeling really well lately. My joints have been hurting quite a bit. I think I need to get back on some supplements I used to take regularly. I used to take Fish Oil and I think it helped a lot. As soon as I can I plan on getting back on it. Also I am supposed to be taking a Prenatal Vitamin for the Iron. I need to get some more of those, too. One of these day I'll get it all together and when I do I'll let you all know. I'm sure I will feel better when I do. As for now though I plan on making Chicken and Noodles or Ham and Beans for dinner. Neither one sounds exactly like diet food, but you can really eat just about anything, within reason, and be alright. As long as you eat in moderation and apply Grace to it. I will definitely have Vegetables, too. I think the 5 a day rule sounds sounds like a good idea. That basically is what my diet is about. Along with proper protein and carbs. I posted my basic diet a while back. I may post it again soon or you can probably look it up. It's basically a Diabetic Diet and Kidney Disease Diet blended together. It's a little bland, but very healthy and would probably work for most people.
Pretty much: No, Sugar, No Salt, low-Starch, low-Fat and lots of Vegetables, Fruit and some lean Protein. If you eat like that you will lose weight. That is if you don't over-eat and stay consistent. But, even then you do have wiggle room, on this diet. It's pretty easy if you buy whats on the diet and watch your portions. You can do it. I've lost 19 pounds on this diet, so I know it works. I lost a little momentum, but I have managed to hold my own, anyway. Just have faith and determination and you will succeed.
