Ham and Beans in the Pressure Cooker
1 Pound Navy Beans.
1 Pound Lean Ham Pieces.
1/4 Chopped Onion or Onion Powder.
Water to cover all of it well.
Seasoned Salt or Seasoned Salt Substitute to taste.
Pepper to taste.
Rinse and sort the Beans.
Put them in a Pot or a Pan; cover them with Water and soak overnight; covered.
Or you can put them in a pot, cover them with Water and boil them for 2 minutes.
Remove them from the heat and let stand for 30 minutes-1 hour.
Drain and rinse.
Put them in the Pressure Cooker and cover well with Water and season.
Put the lid on.
Set the timer for Beans or about 35 minutes.
Release pressure or allow it to release.
Serve with Cornbread and whatever you like.
