Recipe # 160.

                                                           Ground Beef and Brown Rice

1 Pound Lean Ground.
1 Small Onion; chopped.
2-3 Cloves of Garlic; chopped.
1/4 Green Pepper; chopped.
2 Cups Instant or Regular Brown Rice.
4 Cups Water.
1 Large Can Tomato Sauce,
Seasoned Salt Substitute to taste.
Pepper to taste.

Season and Brown the Ground Beef, Onion, Garlic and Green Pepper together in a skillet.
Drain.
Stir in the Rice, Water and Tomato Sauce.
Transfer into the Crock-Pot.
Cover and cook on Low for 6-8 hours or on High for 3-4 hours or until liquid is absorbed and Rice is done.
